Training Opportunity
Dear All,
The Cambodian Center for Independent Media (CCIM) is organizing a training called “Training on E-Advocacy” in collaboration with the Southeast Asian Centre for E-Media (SEACEM), Malaysia-based NGO working on electronic media.
The objective of this training is to learn knowledge and skills in using new technologies such website, blogging, and other electronic media in promoting and advocating for human rights and democracy.
The training will be held only for one day with a limited number of participants. However, we are allocating three days for the training and will divide the participants into batches. The days of the training are scheduled on 13, 14, and 15 June, 2009 and will have session from 9.00 am to 4:00 pm. You may choose the date you wish to join.
The training is free and lunch will be provided for participants.
The requirement for the participants is that they have working knowledge on how to use a number of internet applications such as browsers, web-based emails, and others like Facebook. The training will involved hands-on most of the time, so we asked the participants to bring with them their own laptop with wireless connections.
Please confirm back to me as soon as possible through email: ramana_sorn@vodradio.org or tel: 012 421 215.
For the place for the venue I will confirm later.
Best Regards,
