Pchum Ben Day

On this traditional ceremony (Pchum Ben Day) I went back to my home province. I really happy to be back to get together with my family again.

I went on Sunday by bus but it is the really late bus departure from Phnom Penh at around 10am. I supposed to get my province around 3 or 4pm but it was not as I think, I got there at 6.30pm. You know what when I arrived it also rained the road from bus station to my home is really ugly when raining. My mother refused to come and take me so I decided to ask motor taxi. He agreed with the special price and he brought me home. When I arrive I really feel relief because I was now at my own home and I can do whatever I want. I have my parents to comfort me, esp. my aunt (she really love me but sometime she very strict to me).

The next day I have nothing to do in the morning besides watching TV, I like to watch Thai channels or HBO or Star Movies. Whenever I got home I always lie in front of TV most of the time, so sad when I stayed in Phnom Penh I can’t watch any favorite channels since I don’t have cable TV here in my grandma’s house. And in the afternoon I went to shopping, I bought one skirt and two short trousers (they’re cool).

Still have nothing to do again on the second day at home but I went to my relatives house to visit them, that’s not so happy though.

On Wednesday,I wake up at the early morning to Bos Bay Ben and in the late morning I go to the pagoda with my family. In the evening, I had a plan to go out with my friends but it rained so no getting together and instead of that I sang karaoke at my aunt’s house.

On Thursday I went to another pagoda with my friend in the morning and I stay at her house for lunch. After lunch I collected friends and go to one place for playing card and eating somethings. You know what, since I know how to play card I have never won but on that day I won. feel so happy! But even I didn’t win I still have a happy time!
